Rainbow Twins

So, said she wanted lots of color in her doll that I promised to make for her belated birthday gift, and a joke about a rainbow puking followed. Well, after a few failed attempts, the idea of twins -since she's a Gemini, I believe- occured to me. Then, the rainbow gradient.
Many members of the DDC have seen me working on this baby. Many, many, many failed attempts at shading the darker dress were witnessed. Finally, though, it all came together.
This was made in MSPaint - only the 3rd doll I've completed in MSPaint in 2 years since getting Paint Shop Pro and having layers and fun things to improve my dolls.
The darker dress is a gradient from Purple (Hue 180) to Red (Hue 0), a total of 14 colors for the base dress, another 12 on the corset boning.
The lighter dress (which is not green) is a gradient from Red (Hue 0) to Purple (Hue 180), a total of 12 colors for the base dress, another 10 -I think- on the vest.
I can't begin to express the number of hours I've spent on this doll reshading each part what felt like a million times. I know they're not perfect, but all things considered, I'm so proud of them.

Thank you so much for the DD. I learned so much from this doll when I did it, so even though I've vastly improved since then, it's nice to see something so dear to me get recognized.
